- The Turbo C++ is for beginners and for small projects in general (not
- always). This program only writes Windows 3.0, 3.1 (95?) programs,
- libraries, and DLL's. I find it more than adequate for my needs. As
- far as I know (and the Borland Guys who read this ng will probably
- correct me) there is only one Turbo C++ Visual edition which is Turbo
- C++ 4.5. BTW, you probably want a CDROM on your PC for 2 reasons,
- first, no paper documentation, all documentation is on the CD, second,
- the Turbo C++ is on 17 3.5 inch floppies. My ancient '386SX cannot
- support a CDROM well thus the floppies.
-
- I hope this helps
